A native of Garza, Tex., he moved to Lodi 35 years ago. He was a retired railroad conductor with the Southern Pacific Railroad Co. He had over 42 years of services with the railroad and served in both World War I and World War II in the Army.
He is survived by his wife Elayne Castor of Lodi; two daughters; a brother, Lewis E. Castor; a stepbrother, W.H. Burnett; eight grandchildren and a great grandson.
