Minnie A. Schmitz, 96, of Marvyille, Mo., formerly of Conception Jct., Mo., died Feb 20, 2000, at Maryville, Mo.
She was born on Oct 20, 1903, in Ferdinand, Indiana, to parents, Henry ad Emma Axe Wilmes. She was a homemaker.
She married Doyle Jacob Schmitz on July 27, 1925, in Maryville.
Mrs. Schmitz was a member of the St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Legion of Mary and St. Gregory's Guild, all of Maryville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle; one daughter, Margaret Ann Schmitz; two sons, Doyle Edward Schmitz and Gary Eugene Schmitz; her parents, four brothers, John Wilmes, Herman Wilmes, Frank Wilmes and Ed Wilmes; and five sisters, Mary Rosezinna Wilmes, Elizabeth Auffert, Rose Riley, Ann Peace and Olivia McDermitt.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Sullivan, and numerous grandchildren.
Services were held at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Maryville, Mo.
