Born February 12, 1927 in Dallas, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Remaley) Hacker.
Ila was employed as a sewing machine operator at the former Wundies Company of Williamsport prior to her retirement in 1985.
She was a member of Heshbon United Methodist Church.
Ila enjoyed sewing, crocheting, country music, and playing cards with family and friends.
Surviving is a son Jack C. (Linda) Force of Annville, PA.
In addition to her husband Ila was preceded in death by a son Gregory M. Force in 1968, and two sisters, Mildred Charles and Merla Oden.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Friday July 11, 2014 at the Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport, by Rev. Dr. David Keller, pastor of Heshbon Park United Methodist Church who will officiate. Interment will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
