MR. MICHAEL McWILLIAMS, age 62, of Haywood Valley Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, at his residence following an illness.

He was born August 30, 1951, a son of the late William L. (Bob) McWilliams and Ruby Lee Scoggins McWilliams who survives. Mr. McWilliams attended the University of Georgia and Georgia State; was employed as a pharmacist with his Dad at Trion Drugs in the early 1970s. Later He worked at J & J Carpet in Dalton and Billy Graham Metals in Subligna area. He was very artistic, especially enjoyed doing Civil War figures, and participated in various Civil War reenactments. Michael was preceded in death by his brothers, the late Joey McWilliams and the late Tim McWilliams.

Surviving are His mother, Ruby McWilliams; sister-in-law, Martha McWilliams; and niece & fiancee, Christa Leeann McWilliams all of Haywood Valley and Chuck Campanelli of Teloga Community.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 8th, at 11:00 A.M. in McWilliams Cemetery with Chaplain Rickey Studdard officiating; Pallbearers, Chuck Campanelli, Lowry Shaw, and Danny Reece.
