Susie S. Lecklitner, wife of Rado Lecklitner, died Monday night at 8:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Merlin Bryan, four miles south of Mulberry, Indiana following a stroke of paralysis which she suffered last Friday. She was 58 years old, having been born April 10, 1863, one mile east of Dayton. On February 10, 1885, she was married to Rado Lecklitner, to whom the following children were born Meigs, Charles and Merlin (Bryan), who, with the husband, survives. She is also survived by four grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Matilida Rains and Miss Barbara Shepardson [Shepherdson], of Champaign, Illinois; Mrs. Mary L. Young, of West Allis, Wis. and John Shepardson [Shepherdson], of Mulberry.

She joined the Dayton Presbyterian Church early in childhood and later became a member of the Mulberry Reformed church, taking an active part in all of its activities. She was a member of the church missionary society, Aid society and was also affiliated with the W.C T.U. and the Pythian Sisters and Rebecca lodges of Mulberry. The funeral was held at the Trinity Reformed Church, Mulberry, Wednesday July 6, with Rev. George W. Wolf, pastor in charge. Burial was at Fair Haven Cemetery.
