Daughter of Duke Bogislaw X the Great of Pommern and Princess Anna, daughter of King Kasimir IV of Poland. Second wife of Frederik I of Denmark and Norway, and therefore Queen of Denmark and Norway as well as Duchess of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf. She and the Frederik had six children. (At the time of her birth Szczecin was the city of Stettin in West Pomerania.)
