Eckhart, March 17—John T. Allen, 67, retired coal miner, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his nephew, George Allen, Eckhart, after being in failing health for some time. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allen, Eckhart, he was unmarried and was better known as "Rabbit" Allen. He is survived by five brothers and two sisters, George Allen, Midland; William Allen, Eckhart; James, Peter and Frank Allen and Mrs. Fred Tighe, Wadsworth, Ohio, and Mrs. Thomas Cunningham, Zihlman. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Frostburg.

Frostburg, March 22—Funeral services for John T. Allen. 67, known as "Rabbit" Allen, who died at the home of his nephew, George Allen. Eckhart, were held Friday morning from St. Michael's Catholic Church. The Rev. Dominic A. Bonomo, assistant pastor, celebrant of the Requiem High Mass, delivered the funeral sermon. Burial was in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers were John Groter, Edward Miller, Jacob Hess, Peter Conroy, James Jack and Bernard Byrnes.
