Funeral services for Stringfellow Turk, age 88, of Rosenberg, will be held on Thursday, November 30, 1995, at 10 a.m. at Davis Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Reverend E.B. Beasley, Jr., pastor of St. John's Methodist Church, will officiate at the services.

Mr. Turk was born on July 24, 1907 in Velasco, Texas and passed away on November 27, 1995 in Richmond. Stringfellow was a member of the Morton Lodge #72 of Richmond AF & AM, of which he was the past Master and Chaplin. Mr. Turk was also a member of the Eastern Star.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Octa Turk; his son, William C. Turk; and his parents, William and Emma Turk.

He is survived by a son, James Turk and his wife, Dolores, of Port O'Connor; a daughter-in-law, Lillian Turk, of Talpa; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, Hwy. 59 and FM-2218, in Rosenberg.
