She attended the public schools of Troy township and later the high school at Eagle Grove.
In 1912 she was united in marriage to Virgil Weirick, and to this union five children were born, Wilbur, Esther, Ray, Rose, and John. They moved from here to Truman, Minn., in the year of 1919, and from there to Madelia, later to Lincoln, and then to their present home at Randall.
At an early age she was united with the Methodist church at Troy, where she still maintained her membership.
She passed to the great beyond at the University Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn., September 3, 1933, having reached the age of 42 years, one month, and 14 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Virgil Weirick, the five children, an aged father, Benjamin Wilcox, who is at present living at Truman, Minn., three sisters, Mrs. Delia Traver of Truman, Minn., Mrs. Elsie Stumpf of Eagle Grove, and Mrs. Blanche Baylis of Tacoma, Wash., besides many other relatives and a host of friends.
Services were held at Wilson's chapel Friday afternoon, at 3 o'clock in charge of Rev. J. G. Eaton, and interment was made in the family lot in the Troy cemetery.
