Elizabeth "Bee" Fackler, 94, formerly of Wesleyville, died Friday, January 6, 2006, at IHS at Bayside. She was born in Erie on March 3, 1911, daughter of the late Virgil and Clara Dapp Fackler. She was a lifelong Erie resident. Bee was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir, and formerly of Grace Lutheran Church, where she served as church organist for many years. She had taught organ and piano privately and was a pre-school teacher from 1936 until her retirement in 1980, teaching at Redeemer Lutheran Church and Messiah Lutheran Church. She was a member of the American Guild of Organist, Erie Chapter. She was a graduate of Erie Conservatory of Music and Peachtree Road Lutheran Church in Marietta, Ga., where she trained to be a church deacon. She is survived by one sister, Sara Stollfus and husband Alan, of Rolling Meadow, Ill.; a dear friend, Bea Hansen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Luther, and George Fackler; and two sisters, Dorothy and Edna Fackler.
