E. S. Bumstead Dies at Fort Collins

Edwin S. Bumstead, 76, a former alderman of Colorado Springs, died yesterday morning at Fort Collins, where he has made his home for the past 13 years. He is survived by two sons and two daughters, Francis E. Bumstead and Mrs. Hattie Hoag, 729 North Weber street, residing here; Miss Viola Bumstead in Fort Collins and Dale Bumstead in China.
Mr. Bumstead came to Colorado Springs in 1878 and engaged in the plumbing business here for several years. Later he became a real estate dealer before going to Fort Collins. He was a member of All-Souls Unitarian church and a charter member Pikes Peak lodge No. 38, I. O. O. F. during his residence here, retaining his membership until his death.
The funeral services will be held from the family residence in Fort Collins this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with burial in a Fort Collins cemetery.
