Ollie B. Abbey Brewer, 84, of Battle Ground, died Tues., May 5, 1982, in Heritage Health Care Center, where she had been a patient the past five weeks. She had been ill since last October. Born at Colburn, she was reared at Lafayette and lived at Delphi before moving to Battle Ground in 1960. She was married in 1940 to William H. Brewer. She was a member of VJW Auxiliary 1154. Surviving with the husband are four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Janice) Kirts and Pauline O. Hilton, both of Battle Ground, Mrs. Eugene (Violet) Dilling and Mrs. Russell (Josephine) Justice; a son, Leo H. DeVault, all of Lafayette; 13 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Services were Friday at Lafayette with the Rev. Neil Anderson officiating. Interment was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
