She was retired from Yale University. Anna had a special place in her heart for dogs and cats, taking in stray cats whenever they needed a home. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who loved her dearly.
Her funeral procession left the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday, June 26, at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends called from 8:30 to 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial followed in St. Barnabas Church at 10 a.m. Interment was privately held in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Haven, Inc., 89 Mill Road, North Haven, CT 06473. -
