Funeral service for Myrtle Horn Garsee were held Thursday, May 17, 2007 in Coldwater Baptist Church, Rev. Joe Sharp officiated. Burial followed in Coldwater Baptist Cemetery at Hagewood, La. Mrs. Garsee, 75, of Natchitoches, La., died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Robeline, La., a homemaker and a member of Coldwater Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Sonny Compton; sisters, Christine Crittenden and Nadine Odom; brothers, L. V. Horn, Truley Horn and Billy Horn; parents, L. D. Horn and Mary Frances Mitchell Horn. She is survived by her husband; two daughters and one son-in-law; two sons and daughters-in-law; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers.
