MRS. BRINKMAN -- Mrs. Caroline “Grandma” Brinkman, 96, of Lomira, died Wednesday at Clearview Nursing Home, Juneau. She was born Aug. 23, 1875, in the Town of Wayne, a daughter of August and Francisca Baumgartner Becker. She married John Brinkman at Salem’s United Church of Christ, Wayne, on Nov. 16, 1897. Mr. and Mrs. Brinkman owned and operated Brinkman Paint and Wallpaper Store in Lomira for 70 years.
Survivors include eight children, O. J. Brinkman, Mrs. William Housinger, Mrs. Al Deloria, Miss Clarinda Brinkman and Mrs. John Engman, all of Milwaukee, Alvin Brinkman of Brownsville and Harvey and Herbert Brinkman both of Lomira; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother William Becker of Shorewood, and a sister, Mrs. Albert Loehrke of Mayville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two children, five brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Salem’s United Church of Christ, Wayne. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and thereafter at the church until the time of services.

MRS. BRINKMAN--Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Brinkman, who died Wednesday, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Salem United Church of Christ, Wayne. Burial was in Church of Christ Cemetery at Wayne. Pallbearers were Roger Hausinger, Thomas and Robert Brinkman, Dennis Engmann, John Deloria and Lynn Brinkman.
