Died--Near San Jose, California, at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Q. Clarkson, March 12, Mrs. Rhoda Beatie, relict of the late Capt. Wm. Beatie, of this county, aged 79 years.
Mrs. Beatie was a devout member of the Methodist church, and died with all the consolation and comfort of her Christian faith. She spent the larger part of her life in this county, where most of her children were born.
