To their union were born five children Mrs Nick (Genevieve) Trush of St Johnsbury, VT; Henry of Auburn, ME; Rosamond; Mrs Austin Vear; Roland and Mrs Leo (Evelyn) Bean of St Johnsbury, VT.
In his younger days he did upholstery work and worked in the stone sheds. In later life he did painting and paper hanging.
