Rev. Faglier is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Ogle V. Faglier, Buford; Son, Keith B. Faglier, Marietta; Sons and Daughters In-law, Milton E. and Pat Faglier, Stockbridge, L. Wayne and Margie Faglier, Athens; Daughter and Son In-law, Marsha and Todd Matthews, Sugar Hill; 7 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; Brother and Sister In-law, Claude and Mary Francis Faglier, Augusta; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Rev. Faglier was a native of Jefferson County, GA and had lived in Buford the past 43 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W.II were he served as a Chaplain Assistant. During his many years of ministry, Rev. Faglier served as Pastor to churches in Nashville, GA, Ashburn, GA, Dearing, GA, Leslie, GA and Americus, GA and while earning his Degree at Mercer University he was Pastor to two churches in Macon, GA. Rev. Faglier retired from full time ministry after 21 years at First Baptist Church, Buford where he had served from 1963 to 1984. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Buford, GA where he served as Pastor Emeritus. His many years of ministry to First Baptist Church and the community of Buford, where he was fondly known as “Preacher Faglier”, will always be remembered.
