This Airman is mentioned in a book " From our Home Correspondent " by Phillip Chignell, Choirmaster at Hessle Parish Church [ published by Highgate Publications [Beverley] Ltd.
In his letter of 30th March 1943, he says
" One day last week, March 18th,to be correct, I went off on a little charitable excursion. I was asked to visit the grave of a young Australian airman who had met his death by accident and is now buried about 12 miles from here at Leconfield.
" I was in the churchyard where Kenneth Cadd now lies buried in the company of about 20 other young airmen
For March it was a perfect brilliant day, especially daffodils were in flower, that March was borrowed from June.
It seemed wrong to think about these two dozen young airmen, dead, sleeping the eternal sleep here in this little countryside churchyard.
I called at the Vicarage, door was opened by his Reverence - Douglas Birt - very pleasant and kind.
" There were no flowers on his grave, it is too fresh. One day perhaps I will visit again.
One day perhaps I will send an English flower from that little country churchyard to Australia.
All the same, even Australia, could not beat the beautiful March sunshine as I saw and felt it in the little churchyard, where Kenneth Cadd and his friends are buried.

I was able to contact family in Australia and send them a copy and heard from Margaret Cadd, that George and Alice
had died, as had her other brother,Ross.
Then last year 2005 another relative from Australia contacted me to say they were comming to England and would visit the grave.
