Funeral services for Arnold Beeck, 73, of 1530 39th St., ROck Island, who died at 7:35 this morning in Moline Lutheran Hospital, will be held at 1 Saturday afternoon in the Knox-Larson Funeral Home. Mr. Beeck had been in ill health since last April.
The Rev. Ellis U. Youngdahl, Moline Lutheran Hospital chaplain, will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Friends may call at the funeral home afternoon tomorrow.
Mr. Beeck was born Dec. 3, 1887, in Clinton, Iowa, and married Amanda "Betty" Peters on Dec. 20, 1928. Following their marriage the couple moved to Rock Island where they have since resided.
Mr. Beeck had been employed as a machinist at the Farmall Works, International Harvester Co., retiring in 1955. He was a member of the Clinton Oddfellows.
Surviving are the widow and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
