Mrs. Linda McBryde Tillery, age 69 of Rockmart, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014.
Mrs. Tillery was born on September 30, 1944 in Polk County, daughter of the late James McBryde and the late Fannie Mae Baldwin McBryde. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and a former employee of the First Brands Manufacturing Co. of Cartersville. Mrs. Tillery enjoyed working in her flower garden and loved to ride and shop. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Dwight Dean; daughter, Mrs. Tina Dean Davenport; and a brother, Mr. Larry McBryde.
Survivors include her husband, Elwyn Tillery of Rockmart to whom she was married October 10, 1993; two step-sons, Chris Tillery of Texas and Scott Tillery of Arkansas; one granddaughter, Hansley Davenport also survives.
Funeral graveside and interment services for Mrs. Tillery will be held on Tuesday, July 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the family lot of Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Robert Wright officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Chris Tillery, Kenneth Tillery, Rodney Vines, David Barber, Jimmy Jackson and Steve Woodall.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 1st from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at which time the funeral procession will leave for the graveside service.
