Mrs. Maggie L. Hicks, 84, former Shirley resident, died Tuesday afternoon at Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
A native of Monticello, Ky., she lived in Shirley until 1965 when she moved to Indianapolis. She was a member of the Shirley Christian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Dupke and Mrs. Avis Streeter; two sisters, Rthel Massengale and Mattie Taylor; and a brother, Ernest Blackburn.
