David Ray Armstrong, age 66, of Salisbury, was a son of the late Amos Myers and Louise Michaels Armstrong. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Armstrong.
David served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and then later worked as a shipping clerk for Precision Industries in Conover. He was an avid guitar player all of his life and was the lead guitarist for the Heavenly Echoes. He enjoyed planting flowers, playing music, flying model airplanes, and loved his family and his church.
Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
