Kenneth M. Belote, 44, of Route 3, died Tuesday at his place of employment, Bronson Specialties Co., of an apparent heart attack. He was born in Bronson and was a lifelong resident He had been employed by BronsonSpecialities Co. as a tool and die maker for 25 years. He was a member of St Mary's Assumption Catholic Church, was. a member and past president of the Athletic Association of the church and was a member of the Bronson Golf Association and the Bronson Bowling Association was a former member of the Bronson Jaycees and served as a Boy Scout troop scoutmaster in Coldwater and Bronson. He served with the Army during the Korean conflict. Surviving are his widow, the former Carolyn M. Klemmer; sons, Matthew Belote of Big Rapids, and Daniel, Kenneth, Scott and David, all of Bronson; brothers, Ellsworth "Dick" Belote of Bronson, Robert and Harold, both of Sturgis, and Lawrence of Elk-ton, Ore., and sisters, Mrs. Clayton (Hazel) Kline of Colon, Mrs. Frances Bell of Marshall and Mrs. Robert (Ivabelle) Large of Sturgis. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St Mary's Assumption Catholic Church.
