A graveside service for Ethel B. Fisher, formerly of Bellingham, will be at 3 pm Friday in Bayview Cemetery. A memorial service will be at 11 am Saturday at First Baptist Church. Mrs. Fisher died Saturday, July 12, 1997, in a nursing facility in Los Altos, Calif. She was 100.

Born in Wahoo, Neb, she graduated from Bellingham Normal School, now Western Washington University. She married Harold Fisher on Sept 14, 1921. He died in 1981.

Mrs. Fisher was a member of Bellingham Women's Music Club, Aftermath Club, St. Luke's Assistance League and First Baptist Church since 1920. She also was affiliated with Wally Byam Travel Club.

She enjoyed travel and singing with the music club and in the church choir.

Survivors include son Harold Fisher Jr. of Mount Vernon, daughter Joanne Jones of Palo Alto, Calif, nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Bellingham, WA.
