Ivan Gilbertson Funeral Friday
BRYANT – A lifetime Bryant area resident, Ivan J. Gilbertson, 78, died at his farm home Tuesday. Funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. in West Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Erwin with the Rev. Judeen Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born April 12, 1894 at Bryant to Mr. and Ms. Eber Gilbertson. He lived his entire life on the family farm. He married Agnes Gunderson arch 20, 1930 at Watertown.
Gilbertson is survived by his widow; a son Maynard of Erwin; a brother, Fred, Tillinger, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Hausle and Lillian Gilbertson, Bryant; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The body will lie in state at the Ahren Funeral Home after Thursday and prior to the service Friday.
