A native of Orangeburg, SC, she was the widow of G. Frank Andrews and daughter of the late John B. and Ida (Cook) Amaker.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she was a longtime associate with the Children's Program.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Andrews Capalbo of Sedona, AZ.
The family received friends 3:00 to 3:45, Friday, October 5, 2001 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Graveside services followed at 4:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Dr. George L. McGill.
