On May 19, 1904, she was born in Union Township to Simeon and Saloma (Buzzard) Lehman.
She married William Kauffman in Rensselaer on Dec 16, 1928, and he died May 20, 1960.
She married Stephen A Yoder in Goshen on April 28, 1966, and he died Sept 17, 1991.
Mrs Yoder is survived by two daughters, Marian B Kauffman of Rensselaer and Evelyn Weldy of Phoenix, Ariz; one stepdaughter, Mrs Arthur (Lucille) Detrow of Leetonia, Ohio; two stepsons, Clifford (Donna) Yoder of Boulder, Colo, and J Harold Yoder of Goshen; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren. Two sons, Donald E. and Dale W. Kauffman; two sisters, Hazel Weaver and Ruth Mumaw; and three brothers, Joseph, Wilbur and Arthur Lehman, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the funeral service at 10 am Friday at The Meetinghouse in Greencroft. The Rev John King with Waterford Mennonite Church and the Rev Joe Miller will officiate, and burial will follow at Burr Oak Cemetery near Rensselaer.
Mrs Yoder formerly worked in the cafeteria at Mount Ayr High School and in the housekeeping departments at Jasper County and Goshen General hospitals.
She moved to Goshen in 1963 and was a member of Waterford Mennonite Church. She crocheted many afghans throughout the years for the Mennonite Relief Sale.
