His first marriage, as far as I know, was to my grandmother, Dessie Ermma Story. George was my mother's father. Her name is Dona Lou Pickens Gray Adair. George and Dessie also had a son, but he died as an infant one or two years before she was born. All I know about George is, he died on the operating table during nasal surgery. It turned out he was a bleeder. My mother said she was about 9 years old when he passed away. She told me he was buried in Sidney, Arkansas. I would love to know more about my mother's side of the family.
