Elizabeth Manget Williamson departed this life on January 18, 2006 at Baylor University Hospital, having lived in Dallas most of her 94 years. She is survived by three children, thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. All remember her as a loving, devoted mother and grandmother, bright and full of good humor. Educated at Hockaday school, she graduated in 1928. She graduated from Vassar College in 1933. She married C.R. Smith, CEO of American Airlines in 1934. After a divorce, she married W.E. Walker of Dallas, an independent oil operator, in 1944. Mr. Walker died in 1971. She married Edward A. Williamson, a Warner Brothers executive, in 1975. Mr. Williamson died in 2003. Mrs. Williamson was a long time devoted member of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation. She volunteered with the local chapter of the American Red Cross during World War Two and remained an enthusiastic volunteer for the years. She lunched with Red Cross friends only a few weeks ago. She also volunteered in the gift shop at Children's Medical Center. Mrs. Williamson's other activities included membership in the Shakespeare Club, the Hesitation dance club, and Coon Creek Club of Athens. She was a Junior League Sustainer. . . .
