The youngest, Irma went to the Escobar family in Warm Springs who had several adult children who never married. Alfred went to his mother's sister, Margaret Soito, who was also his godmother and was raised there until his drowning death at a young age. Mary was said to have spent time with her mother's sister Minnie Caldeira. The other children remained with their father and his brother Manuel.
