Anton Jacob Alkek Jr., 48, of 110 Hollywood, owner-president of Computer Associates Tele-Communcation Concepts, died Sunday at his home following a long illness.
Mr. Alkek, a former resident of Corpus Christi, was born Aug. 20, 1936, in Victoria. He had lived in Victoria continuously since 1969.
Son of the late Anton Jacob Alkek and Sophie Towell Alkek, he was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Colonial Gardens Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at 2"30 p.m. Monday at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Donald Blavier officiating.
Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Bess M. Cofer Alkek of Victoria; four daughters, Natalie, Glynna and Laurie Alkek, all of Victoria, and Lisa Stoika of Houston; two sisters, Jalayne Tupa and Susie Sides, both of Victoria; and a brother, Edward Gene Alkek of Victoria.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Cattan, George Bagnall, Ed Dold, Sammy Cattan, Scott Joy, Emil Ganem, Tommy Wilson, Keith Towell, David Drost, Dwen Towell, Bruce Bauknight, Winston Ledet, Dan Pedone, Al Kopecky and Jimmy James.
