HAMPTON - Sybil Lewis, 67, died Friday, March 27, 1998. A native of Morehead City, N.C., she had been a Hampton resident since 1961.

She had retired from Maida Development as a supervisor of electronics manufacturing after 17 years.

Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, Darcy E. Lewis Sr., and is survived by her daughters, Florence A. Lewis of Virginia Beach and Kathy L. Herberner of Georgetown, Ky.; her son, Darcy E. Lewis Jr. of Hampton; a sister, Aileen Willis of Morehead City; a brother, Wesley Lewis of Newport, N.C.; and four grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 30, in Parklawn Memorial Park by Chaplain Roland P. Bugg. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 303 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Va. 23666-1521.
