PITTSBURG - Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Basil R. Argo, owner and operator of Concord's first neon sign company, who died yesterday in Antioch at the age of 66.
A native of Ohio, Mr. Argo came to Concord 25 years ago and operated the Argo Neon Sign Company. He later moved the business to Pittsburg and retired in 1968.
His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sadie Argo, Antioch; two sons Chris and Michael Argo, Concord, and his mother Sara Argo of Ohio
Services will be will be held at 2 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Funeral Chapel 2295 Railroad Ave.
