Mrs. Isabel Berg, 89, 503 Haish Boulevard, passed away Wednesday at the County Home following a long illness.
She was born in Milan Township, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Halver Kittleson. She married Oscar Berg of Sycamore in October, 1890. They moved to DeKalb in 1920.
Mrs. Berg was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society for the past 25 years.
Survivors include three sons, Mahlon, Shabbona; Orville, Delvan, Minn.; and Earl, Kirkland; and five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Lenke, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Hattie Edwards, both of DeKalb; Mrs. Lucille Ball, Elgin; Mrs. Luella Cederoth, Chicago; and Mrs. Niva (Neva) Reynolds, Maple Park. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the family home and t 2 p.m. from the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Sterling R. Johnson, pastor, and Rev. J. O. Valtinson, Chicago officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Lee.
Friends may call in the family home after noon Friday until time of services.
