Mrs. Anna Clark, 85, Lockridge, died about 2 a.m. today at the Fairfield Convalescent Home. She had been in failing health for several years.
The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where services are pending.
Mrs. Clark was born June 6 1884 at Lockridge, dau. of Ernest and Amelia (sic - Ernst & Emielie) Fleck Hildebrand. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vern Lyon, and one sister, Mrs. Martha Clark, both of Rolfe.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Graveside Rites For Mrs. Clark
Graveside services for Mrs. Anna Clark, 85, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the New Sweden Baptist Cemetery located west of Four Corners. The Rev. David M. Funk will officiate.
Mrs. Clark died Saturday at the Fairfield Convalescent Home. She had been in failing health the past several years. Her home was at Lockridge.

Note: Her husband was John Garfield CLARK who died in 1962 and is buried in Palo Alto County, IA. They were married in Jefferson County, Iowa on October 30, 1910. John is buried with a second wife, Martha E. CLARK, who may well have been a sister of Anna HILDEBRAND CLARK.

Due to the location of the cemetery, it is likely that Anna was cremated but buried without a headstone, as getting to the area with modern equipment would be very difficult.
