Waxahachie, Texas – June 25, 2014 – Dr. Hershel A. Brummett, president of Southwestern Assemblies of God College (SAGC) from 1979-1982, died at the age of 84 on Monday, June 23, 2014, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The funeral service is Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Woodlake Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rev. Phil Taylor, Rev. Dave Mewbourne and Rev. Jim Brummett will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Bixby Cemetery in Bixby, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the H.A. Brummett Memorial Scholarship fund at SAGU.
