Lelah C. Ogilvie, 86, a resident of Miller's Merry Manor convalescent center at Hope, died there at 10:20 p m Monday. She had been in failing health several years. She was the widow of James F. Ogilvie to whom she was married Feb. 28, 1928. He died March 13, 1960.

Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Meridith Wilfong at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Norman Funeral Home at Hope where persons may call from 4 until 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. Ogilvie was born in Bartholomew County Aug. 16, 1895, the daughter of Oscar B. and Ida Huffmaster Galbraith. Her first husband, Walter Perkins, also preceded her In death.

She attended Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include three children, Sam Ogilvie of Hope, Doris "Bill" Perkins of Grammer and Lee Ogilvie of Clovis, N.M.; three stepchildren, Christina Welmer and Florence Walesby of Columbus, and Jim W. Ogilvie of Hudson, Fla., 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
