BOOKER, Mrs. Sarah Myrtle Dixon, 78, died April 1, 1980 in Tippah County Hospital. She was a native of Rogers Spring Community in Hardeman County, had lived in MS 59 years. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Funeral services were April 3 at 2 pm in Harmony Baptist Church with burial in New Salem Cemetery. Rev William Eaton and Rev Ronnie Mitchell officiated. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar was in charge. Survivors include John R. Booker, Walnut; one daughter, Joyce Booker, Southaven; two sons, Wallace Booker, Atlanta, GA and Malcolm Booker, Yukon, OK; one brother, L.D. Dixon, Saulsbury, TN; 7 grandchildren and 5 ggrandchildren.
