Ruth Duncan Skidmore, 95, formerly of Gassaway and a resident of Serenity Care Home of Buckhannon, WV died November 30, 2015.
She was a daughter of the late Oscar and Wilda Rusmisell Duncan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Holmes Skidmore.
Ruth was a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and was a retired teacher from Gassaway High School and Braxton County Schools and was a member of the Southern Methodist Episcopal Church, Gassaway Methodist Church, Braxton County Retired Teachers Association and Gassaway Woman’s Club.
She is survived by her cousins, Mary Alice Bragg of Roanoke, WV, Ann Parsons of Charlotte, NC, Ora Lee Laign and Teresa Knight of Buckhannon, WV and Anna Ward Raab of Charleston, WV.
