Mrs. William (Pearl) Mounts, 70, of Moweaqua died 4 p.m. Wednesday in St Mary's Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Old Stonington Baptist Church. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Moweaqua and from noon Friday until service time at the church. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery.
Mrs. Mounts was born in Christian County, a daughter of Noah Webster and Lucy Ann Rigsby Smith.
She was a member and chairman of the White Cross of the Old Stonington Baptist Church, Shelby County Home Bureau and the Moweaqua Sunnyside Club.
She married Jordan Kearns Feb 14, 1925. He died in 1931. She married William Earl Mounts in April, 1941. He died July 9, 1966.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Perkins of Moweaqua; son, J. Karl Kearns of Mount Zion; brother, Roy E Smith of Findlay and six grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
