WATERLOO -- Mary Anne Herold, 72, of 1110 Virginia St., died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.
She was born March 28, 1928, in Waterloo, daughter of Allen LeRoy and Lily Faye Pickett Reams. She married Edward Arden Herold on June 10, 1952, in Waterloo.
Mrs. Herold was employed at Rath Packing Co. before her marriage. She later worked as a paraprofessional and teacher's aide in the Resource Room at Blessed Sacrament School until retiring in 1980.
Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Janice Bebee of Waterloo; three sons, Paul of Phoenix, David of Cedar Falls and Douglas of Waterloo; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
Memorials: may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
