Martha Ree Scarlett, 79, of Hampton, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. Mrs. Scarlett was born August 24, 1934 in Camden, the daughter of Jesse and Sarah Leona Justice Albritton. She was director of the nutrition center in Hampton, and member of the First Baptist Church in Hampton.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. J. Scarlett; brother, Leonard Albritton, and sister-in-law, Ruth Key.

Survivors include her son, Jay Scarlett and wife, Michelle of Bearden, AR; daughter, Sarah Baker and husband, Larry of Seabrook, TX; grandchildren, Cody Baker and Cole Baker both of Seabrook, TX, Taylor Scarlett and Payton Scarlett both of El Dorado, AR, and Jessica Hill of Bearden, AR; nieces, Gail Wolfe and Glenda Holthoff both of Camden, AR.

Funeral services for Mrs. Scarlett will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Hampton First Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Smith officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Hampton First Baptist Church.
