Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Suitor, wife of David Suitor, who died at New Smyrna, Florida, January 21, was conducted at the mausoleum in Gandview cemetery Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. A goodly number of friends and kindred were present to pay a final tribute of respect to the deceased. Rev. Homer Moore of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Episcopal Church was in charge he speaking briefly upon the theme of "Friendship," Prayer and appropriate song services were rendered. Opportunity to view the body was afforded all.
Mrs. Suiter was born at Atwood, her maiden name being Haugh, the county having been the home until about 25 years ago, since which the residence has been in Florida. Surviving is her husband, one daughter, Mrs. I. N. Newell, of New Smyrna; two brothers, Andrew Haugh, of New Philadelphia, and Grant Haugh, of Denver, Colorado and two sisters, Mrs. William D. Beamer, of Sherrodsville and Mrs. Lillie Miles, residing in California.
