Our dear Mother, Marjorie Brimhall Lemon passed on the morning of June 19, 2014. Born May 28, 1923 in Lovell, Wyoming to Albert Leslie Brimhall and Beatrice Tolman Brimhall.
The family moved to Kamas, Utah where she attended school. Her parents opened a grocery store on Main Street call Less Cash, later changed to Kamas Valley Grocery. Marjorie was the Kamas Valley Fiesta Days Queen in 1940.
In 1940, Marjorie married Grant Everett Lemon. They had three children. Vickie L. Singer (John, deceased), Carlo Grant (Sidne) and Susan Lemon.
Marjorie was a very talented and meticulous seamstress. She loved sewing, quilting, embroidery, making porcelain dolls and their clothing. She received many blue ribbons at the county fair for her work. She organized a Young Mothers Sewing Club with her friends and then later it was called The Merry Mrs's Sewing Club. The ladies were long time friends and met together well into their senior years. What she loved to do, she did with perfection. She was interested in family genealogy, and her genealogy books are a treasure for our family.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings. Survived by her children, 14 grandchildren, great and great, great grandchildren too many to count. But we all knew that she loved us as we did her.
Funeral services on Friday, June 27 at 1:00 PM with a viewing 1 hour prior in the Marion LDS Chapel 3038 N State Road 32, Kamas, Utah. Interment in the Marion Cemetery.
