Catherine Green was the daughter of John Aaron Green 1796-1876, and Mary West "Polly" Littlepage Green who lived in Texas when it was a Republic. In 1855 she married Raleigh Hughes and lived in Tyler, Texas. She had to sons, James Kilgore "J.K."Hughes 1857-1938 and J. Hughes 1859-1870. Catherine died of typhoid fever in April 1860. There is no documentation that she is buried in this cemetery-but this is where her parents are buried.
