Brad Blamer, age 57 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at his home following a short illness.
Brad was born on February 15, 1957 in Fremont to Vern L. and Shirley M. (Gates) Blamer and graduated from Fremont High School in 1975.
Brad had been the owner of the Party Station in Fremont for 27 years. Brad then spent the last 5 years driving school bus for Fremont Public Schools where he truly enjoyed the children on his bus route.
Brad married Shellynne Struble on February 24, 2005 in Englewood Beach, Florida and enjoyed walking, riding bicycles and feeding the birds. Brad was also an avid golfer and liked listening to music.
Brad is survived by his wife, Shellynne Blamer of Fremont; his children, Brett Blamer of Fremont; Ben Blamer of Fremont; Brianna Blamer of Fremont; step children, Kendra (Steve) LaFlame of Hesperia; Joe McClernan of Hesperia; his parents, Vern and Shirley Blamer of White Cloud; step grandchildren, Nikolai and Travis LaFlame; sisters and brothers, Rhona (Mike) Colbert of North Muskegon; Lynn (Bob) Hurley of Tampa, Florida; Joni (Dennis) Tubbergen of Fremont; Christy (Dave) Norman of Fremont; Dan (Pamela) Blamer of Washington, DC; his great aunt, Mildred Brooks of Fremont; several nieces and nephews.
