Mr. Roy Quinton, age 64 of Talking Rock, passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008 at Heartland Hospice House in Cartersville, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Teena Quinton, Talking Rock; daughter, Wendy Quinton, Atlanta; step-sons, Chris and Dustin Carver, both of Talking Rock; sister and brother-in-law, Millie and Bill Cain, Jasper; step-grandchildren, Desiree, Navaeh and Kyle Carver; niece, Lisa Brasher; and nephew, Chris Brasher, Woodstock.

The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Garrison and Jerrold Young officiating. Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were: Thomas and Ted Quinton, Rick Bell, Eddie Stuart, Steve Burrell, Lamar Nichols, Chris Brasher, Louie Campano, Gary Dale and Bill Cain. Members of the Talking Rock Fire Department were honorary pallbearers, and also Truman Parks, James Quinton and Stantford and Ricky Rittenberry. The family did accept flowers or you may make donations to the American Cancer Society.
