Funeral services were held at White Oak Pond church Sunday, March 16, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Nancy Adeline Jones, 74. The Rev. J. R. Bogart conducted the services and burial in the church cemetery was under direction of Holman Funeral Home.
Nancy Adeline Jones was born April 12, 1872 and died March 13, 1947.
She is survived by her husband, Laborn Jones, five children, two sons, Jesse Marcum, Conway, and David Marcum, Lebanon, three daughters, Mrs. Ella Cope, Springfield, Mrs. Bessie Prock, Grove Spring, Mrs. Frances Glenn, Kansas City, and six step-children, Rob Jones, Grove Spring, Jeff Jones, Orla, Waldridge and Lavern Jones, both of Lebanon, Mrs. Myrtle Simpson and Mrs. Gladys Marcurn, both of Lebanon.
She also leaves a brother and a sister, Edward Lowery and Honor Lowery, both of Grove Spring. There are 21 grandchildren. 13 great-grandchildren. She had been a member of the Grove Spring Baptist Church 41 years.
