Visitation for Fred W. Finch, 83, will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Longhouse in Wellpinit, Wash. Graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Spokane Memorial Gardens. Strate Funeral Home in Davenport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Finch, who was born in Wellpinit, died Wednesday. He was a longtime resident of Davenport, Wash., before moving to Spokane 10 years ago.
He served in the Army during World War II, and worked as a lineman and a serviceman for Washington Water Power for 35 years.
Mr. Finch was a member of the Spokane Tribe, the WWP Trailblazers, the Davenport Lions Club and the American Legion.
Survivors include two daughters, Rita Berwick of Tenino, Wash., and Delores Wright of Merced, Calif.; a brother, Hobie Bair; three sisters, Florence Abrahamson, Unis Peone and Minnie Abrahamson, all of Wellpinit; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
